Basically, the question I have is slightly more complex.

I have been to and from doctor’s, ER’s, etc. These are my symptoms:
Stiff neck
Joints are weak, pop alot, etc
I am unable to work out(In the past my recovery time took longer)
Insomnia
Trouble breathing, and lying down makes it difficult to breath. Almost as if gravity pushes down on me, so I cannot breathe as well when laying down.
Weight Loss(I lost about 15 pounds in 3 weeks. I am now at 140)
Burning sensations
———————————–

Basically, They initially sent me to a neurologist. After seeing how my joints bulge out at my hand, and my symptoms.. he wanted me to see a rheumatologist, he believed I had rheumatoid arthritis. Problem is, my referral was declined twice, as all the blood tests, X-rays, etc showed nothing. The exception was my TSH levels last week. This made them believe I might have a form of hyperthyroidism.

So, I went to my Primary Care Giver to get a referral to an endocrinologist. The doctor told me that I seemed to have atrophy in my hands, maybe a sign of muscle degeneration. My fingers are very skinny as well. Nonetheless, he wanted to re-take the bloodtest to test my TSH levels.

Well, they came back normal. The blood tests were taken three days ago, and I just got the results. My original test(which came back elevated) was a week before. To be honest.. It throws me off.

I just honestly want some answers. I have college and the sort. The pain is getting more and more intense. My sleep is shit. Its starting to slightly drive me insane. Seems healthcare system is shit. They dont even listen, they are going to give me Hydrocodone, Anti-Inflammatorys, Hell..They even gave me Flexeril(Which I believe is a muscle relaxer). None worked.. They still apparently believe it will.

Anyways, this is not a rant. I am currently wondering what disease could be associated with this sudden “change” in TSH. Atrophied muscles in the hands. And.. My joints seem doughy(As a doctor said). I also have an extreme intolerance for hot or cold. Anything near warm causes sweating, coldness causes pains.

Thanks – I apologize for the random ranting.. Dont got much to do anyhow, but wait.
Edit: Whoops.. Apologize. The questions is “Why would my TSH levels change between elevated and normal”
