He is 46 and it came on suddenly. He really suffers with it. The doc put him on Enbrol?? It’s a weekly injection. We are waiting for it to be shipped to us so he can begin. I can’t help but wonder if there are other options? There is another med he can’t take because he has FLD.Anyone have alternative remedies that may help?

Arthritis/Fibromyalgia pain?..I don’t mean the weak “medical marijuana” stuff..I mean the street stuff (which is probably cheaper lol)…the Gov has to have their piece:S…I really would like to hear experiences with this..Does it help?..drug interactions ..anything..I have a loved one who suffers much pain with not a lot of relief from prescriptions…thanks:)….

Dr. suggested humira but it costs 1400 every two weeks- I can’t afford it. Is there a place it can be bought for less?

Please help. She is not getting better on the curent medication.

I have a friend that has RA. She needs her medications, but the doctor she use to go to will not give her a prescription for it. She really needs HELP! Is there an organization for people that have rheumatoid arthritis?
She is on Medicare and Medicaid and totally disabled, with a fixed income.

Any additional folk remedies for this painful affliction would be greatly appreciated.

i am 32 years old and have severe arthritis. I cant sleep at night or do the things with my kids that i want to do. are there any natural methods or remedies for it?

I am, and have caught a bad dose of flue.
As this treatment lowers my bodys immune system, should I see my specialist quickly ?

I read that a sore throat, headaches, and other general flue symptons, can be a side effect of taking this treatment and should be reported to your physician.

Advanced arthritis has to be diagnosed. A doctor will review your medical history as well as giving you a physical examination of the joints affected by arthritis – sometimes x-rays are also used. Although your doctor can help with this diagnosis, it is usually something that the person affected knows about both on a physical and emotional level.

Don’t despair if you have been given the diagnosis of advanced arthritis as there are lots of treatments and options available. You can go and see other health care professionals, such as a rheumatologist (if you have rheumatoid arthritis) or a physiatrist who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as occupational therapists and even chiropractors.
