Please help: Quick arthritis relief without the help of medication?
I have rheumatoid arthritis and I do not take medication for it(the medications I’ve been on in the past caused stomach issues and if I control my diet I can usually control the RA). I am in a lot of pain today, the weather is not helping with this in one bit. Does anyone know of anything that I can do to help relieve the pain without medicine? I don’t have any Tylenol left and no money to buy some right now.
I have RA in my hands, wrists, knees and right ankle. Any suggestions to help relieve pain right now would be great…thank you!

try and get your mind to help you that is what they say. mind over matter. it can work you have to put yourself in another place.
Cold or heat packs on the affected areas usually helps.
Try doing some exercises, rest, massage the areas, also having a healthy diet works, and yoga can help a lot! These are the ONLY things, other than medication, that can help you with the disease, hope that helped!
Also, sorry, I almost forgot! You can adjust the temperature, like using ice, or for some people, using a heater helps!
For Osteoarthritis, I have found that eating spicy foods can be helpful as ginger, tumeric, and capsiasin are all natural anti-inflammatories. They can cause stomach upset however, so beware of them if your stomach is acting up or you are prone to diarrhea.
Capsaisin is also available as a topical ointment that can provide relief if eating such things is out of the question, as is often true.
