Question by helpplease: Does rheumatoid arthritis cause severe fatigue?
I was diagnosed with JRA when I was 2. I am now 20 and was diagnosed with RA about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t had any problems since I was about 4. Now I have severe pain and fatigue. Is it normal to be this exhausted despite getting a full night’s sleep? What can I do to get over this?

Another little known fact is that the disease is not limited to adults and can sometimes affect children too. Though rare, children can contract a form of the disease called juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). The symptoms of arthritis in children are actually quite similar to those in adults with the disease. But there are a number of significant differences as well that you might want to know about it.
JRA is a serious medical condition that results in joint inflammation that lasts about six weeks. This condition is in fact not as unusual as you may think, and can occur just as frequently as it does in adults. Statistics indicate that about 25 percent of all people will be diagnosed with some form of the disease during their lifetime, so this is somewhat alarming.

Arthritis can affect individuals in a number of ways. Joints may be rigid and creak. For others who put up with arthritis, joint capsules might fracture unexpectedly, just like knee joints upon standing. For many arthritis victims, pain sensation transpires, just like when attempting to open up a jar. And so, what’s all this about? Let’s take a look at basic principles of arthritis and learn more.
Arthritis normally indicates “joint inflammation” and features in excess of a hundred related health conditions or sorts of the illness. In cases where arthritis is abandoned with no treatment, it can enhance, leading to joint impairment that cannot possibly be reversed. For this reason, reasonably early diagnosis of joint disease as well as arthritis proper care are usually essential. The two most regular types of joint inflammation are generally osteo arthritis (OA) and also rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Whereas both style of arthritis have exact same signs, both materialise for different factors. When ever joint capsules are over-used and abused, the outcomes could very well be osteoarthritis (OA). What happens is usually that the shock absorption cartilage that shields the joint stops working, ending in the bones scrubbing together with each other. This usually occur in the knee joints, but could be detected in the hips, spine and hands and fingers too. And, only in the later phases of osteoarthritis will an individual generally experience pain, after quite a little bit of cartilage is lost or damaged.
