I’ve been unemployed/ disabled for 6+ years & just recently started back to work. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Arthritis and I currently have a job where I stand for 5-6 hours a day. I was on lyrica & gained 30+ pounds, so I stopped taking that. I have Oxycontin to take so I can sleep, and I only take it when ABSOLUTELY necessary. But, here’s the thing, at night my legs and feet hurt so bad, that I just could cry all night long. I have been trying several different approaches, such as soaking my feet, massage therapy, tiger balm, and someone told me to drink a small glass of water heated @ night w/ 1 Tables. of white vinegar, and honey in it.(don’t know if that really works). Does anyone have ANY homeopathic remedies for me to try?
I’m in a relationship with the person who is having Rheumatoid arthritis since 2 years… We both love each other a lot… I love him a lot. He is taking medication and the doctor said he is doing good. But, some times when I think of future, his Rheumatoid arthritis scares me… Please adivse.
Recently, our 43 year old daughter committed suicide (shot herself in the head w/357 magnum). This has left us completely and untterley devastated. How does one handle this? My husband has seemed to throw himself into his extracurricular activities, biking, swimming, walking, etc. I am having a more difficult time just getting up out of the bed some days and the crying just won’t stop!
We are here in Michigan to take custody of grandchildren (3) of them, 9, 10 and 11. She was widowed so there is no father in the picture. I know that we need to be strong for the grandchildren but it seems as if I just don’t have the energy. My physician (in Texas) has been made aware of the situation and has suggested seeing a Mental Health/Grief-Counselor of sorts. I don’t see how they can help especially if one has never walked in the others’ shoes, how can they truly understand what I am going through. Parents are not supposed to bury children, it most definitely should be the other way around. Furthermore, my child took her precious life over a situation that was “temporary” and solvable at best.
ik a man in georgia who got his insurance to cover alot of the cost to put in an in-ground pool…due to back problems. Also kno someone who had a hot tub installed and most that cost was covered also by his insurance but his reason was for his knees. I have dissinigrating discs in my back(sry for the bad spelling) and buldging discs in my lower back. I also have JRA (juvenille rheumatoid arthritis). I do exercises with little to no relief with either of these problems and the medications do not work. If anyone knows how to get insurance company to do this i would b extremely grateful! any websites would help also. Please and thank you so much!
I have RA and have been treated in the past with Remicade–got very sick and was in the hospital and was told not to take it again. I was just told that the Rheumatologist wants me to take Enbrel. I am afraid that I might end up with plural effusion again if I do. Have any of you had any information about that? Enbrel and Remicade are in the same drug class. I would appreciate any websites, or informatio so that I can make an informed decision. Go ahead and e-mail me at either ynda301@sbcglobal.net or ahdrmd@msn.com . I would appreciate any help that you can give me.Thank-You
